I have started to write down a number of my yoga practice techniques to later include on my website in a series of online yoga lessons.

Here is the first one:

This practice intends to brake our habit of identifiyng ourselfves with what we see around us. It teaches us to connect with our creativity, awareness of new possibilities as well as letting go of the victim mentality.

Sit comfortably with the spine erect. You can also choose to lie down as long as you can maintain the sharpness of your attention.

First notice what you are currently feeling. Observe your thoughts.

After taking them in redefine your universe.

Visualize being suspended in a black void. Notice there is nothing there besides the infinite black space. You can stay here for awhile.

You will know you are ready to move on when you feel fully supported by the infinite black space enveloping you like a blankett.

Then ask yourself a question. What would I like to create?

What is really important to me?

Start from scratch. Possibillities are endless.

When you are fully satisfied with your visualization empty your mind again for a minute or so and let yourself gradually come back to your life’s activities.

Notice how you might see things differently then before you started the meditation.
